St. Paddy's Gold Miners Beacon Hunt

Date & Time:

Sunday, March 16

12pm: Sausage & hash cookout at the base area

1-3pm: Beacon park scavenger hunt begins!

Celebrate St. Paddy's Day next Sunday with spring skiing and a family-friendly holiday scavenger hunt! This is an interactive, go-at-your-own-pace activity for parents and children to utilize avalanche rescue tools to simulate a treasure hunt. Each beacon buried in the beacon park will have a hidden treat to uncover along with it. A staff member and volunteer will be on-site to provide guidance and transceivers to use for those who do not have their own.

This event is supported by the Friends of Sawtooth Avalanche Center!

Full Moon Silent Disco with The Liberty Theater

3/14: EVENT UPDATE!!

We were hoping for a hilltop dance party but due to dropping temps and high winds this evening we now plan to host the silent disco at the base! Lift tickets are no longer required, so the event is free and if you would like to ski while you're here, you can purchase a lift ticket separately. See you tonight!

--> CLICK HERE FOR SILENT DISCO REGISTRATION FORM

Important Participation Information:

  • This event is open to all ages! It is outdoors, so dress accordingly.
  • Pre-registration is not required, however, if you would like to sign up in advance, make sure each individual participant submits a separate form to register for their preferred time slot.
  • There are 30 headsets available for use during each 30-minute session. You can guarantee your time slot by signing up ahead of the event (through this form), or you can sign up in person when you arrive at the ski area. Early sign ups are encouraged for those who want to boogie with friends!
  • THE SILENT DISCO IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE FROM 8:00-9:00PM. Sign ups are only required between 6:00-8:00pm.

CANCELLED - Rota-Rail Jam

EVENT CANCELLED

As many of you know, the Rotarun park arrived late in the season with a partial build. The necessary weather conditions for installing rail features have not lined up with our operational/staffing capabilities and have therefore prevented Rotarun from building the park to its full capacity. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to deliver on another freestyle-focused community event next year!
